Do your parents let you play M rated games?

I know my parents do. I've played GTA SA, Resident Evil, COD MW, MW2, Medal of honor etc but I'm not showing off. I think some kids can't play M rated games even at age 16 because of the maturity they have. I know a Video game is a VIDEO GAME and its not real life. I know I wont kill a person in real life just because I played a game that is based on that.
