he is just lazy. Talk to him, you both have to work at this. Sit him in front of you and set things straight. You can't read eachother's mind. If he get's angry, tell him he has the right to feel that way, but this is a marriage, there is two of you, and your opinions and problems matter too and deserve to be discussed.
