Which Call of Duty should I buy?

Don't worry about the stories they don't coincide with each other.The only fun part is the online play but world at war is the best call of duty. Other than that black ops is good to but not as good as wow. Also Modern Warfare 1 and 2 are horrible games that were just thrown together (which all of the call of duties are). World at war is the most entertaining though.
