Don't you hate how people can't understand the period pains you go through!!?

Wow I went through the same thing during my school years from age 9 until 16 I constantly missed school because of my period pains. I am now 21. My mother used to tell me that I should stop behaving like my period is a sickness. She never seemed to believe how much pain I was feeling, nobody did, I had cold sweats, vomiting, dizziness, you name it. Period pains vary from person to person. I am so shocked that some women actually feel no pain. Some mild and some very intense. I had to learn to manage it. That took a couple of years though. As they got regular I was able to predict when it would come and the day before and during take ibuprofen as a pain killer. But when I wasn't so lucky I had to go to the nurses office. As you get older though you will be able to manage it. :)
